The Story
Ane Brun is a Norwegian singer-songwriter who has been based in Stockholm since 2001. Her breakthrough came with her second album, A Temporary Dive (2005), which topped the Norwegian charts and established the intimate, string-laced sound she's built on since.
Changing of the Seasons (2008) and When I'm Free (2015) continued a catalog now spanning eleven studio albums, built around her distinctive, breath-forward voice.
Beyond her own records, Brun has scored screen work: she contributed additional music to the 2018 Swedish biopic Becoming Astrid and composed the title music for the 2019 TV series Hidden: First Born.
